Tegnon has over the last 50 years established themselves as the leader in providing compressed air drying solutions. Recent increases in energy costs were the driver behind the development of our patented Efficient Purge system.

The system operates on the same drying principle as a traditional pressure swing dryer. Desiccant regeneration is however achieved through the assistance of an efficient low pressure pump. This mechanism enables us to reduce the air required for regeneration to less than 2% from the traditional 12%.

The total energy saving is calculated by taking into account the reduction in purge air required to regenerate the dryer and the energy needed to power the Efficient Purge system.
